Youth Fellowship Missions   The West Virginia Ministry Every year in June, a team of adults and youth travel to West Virginia to a work camp in Appalachia to assist needy residents with upgrading their sub-standard housing. MacPherson has sent a team every year since 1986. MacPherson also includes a contribution for the purchase of supplies in the annual budget. This has become an annual trip that each of our youth look forward too. Not simply because of the fun they have in the mountains of West Virginia but also because of the lessons learned from the word and the friends that are made. Our Sister Church, Oryl, Russia MacPherson is a sister church of the Transfiguration Baptist Church in Oryl, Russia. MacPherson has assisted the church with personnel and provisions for their summer Bible School Camp for the past three years. In years past the church has sent members to aide in the production of the camp. More recently we also aided in the construction of a house that the camp will soon use for their rainy day activities, meals and other things. We also aided in the construction of a shower room and running toilet. Some of the youth go every year and come back with experiences that will mold them as young men and women in Christ.     MacPherson youth also aid in raising money for the Souper Bowl fundraiser that feeds the hungry here in Fayetteville. We have also helped with putting together of bags for homeless shelters to give to those in need. We also have worked at feeding the hungry in other ways in Fayetteville and continue to look for new ways to serve our community.
