MacPherson Presbyterian Church is a Christ-centered, people-oriented church located in the city of Fayetteville, North Carolina. It is surrounded by the family neighborhoods of Stratford Hills, Kingsford, Murray Hills, MacPherson Estates, Kirkwood, Van Story Hills, and Westwood. The surrounding community includes the largest shopping area of malls and shopping centers in Southeastern North Carolina.
The church is located on 14 acres within sight of the intersection of Cliffdale and McPherson Church Roads, one of the busiest intersections in the city. The sanctuary, with a seating capacity of 300, is one of oldest structures in the city of Fayetteville. Attached to the sanctuary are the church offices, Church School classrooms, and a fellowship hall, with kitchen, which seats 180 persons for church dinners.
The property also includes a softball/soccer field used by church groups and the Fayetteville YMCA. The church cemetery is located behind the church. Directly across Cliffdale Road is the church manse, a beautiful 2400 square foot house, in Forest Creek, a newly developed private community.
