Children’s Activities

At MacPherson Presbyterian Church, we aim to actively nurture each child’s faith in Jesus through Bible study, fun, and spiritual development. Our children’s programs include:

• 10 a.m. Discipleship Classes
  • Pre-K (3-4yrs old)
  • Kindergarten-2^nd grade
  • 3^rd-5^th grade
• Nursery
  • Available during 11:00 am service
• Vacation Bible School
  • July 2026

Youth Activities

Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities but the same God who activates all of them in everyone. – 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 NRSV

When our children transition into the youth group, the entire congregation partners with them to help them identify and utilize each of their unique spiritual gifts.  Bible study remains the foundation of the youth’s Christian formation, and they are presented with new opportunities to demonstrate God’s Word through active discipleship. Youth programs and activities include:

• 10 a.m. Discipleship Classes (Middle & High School)
• Youth Fellowship & Study (Middle & High School)
  • Sundays @ 12:15 p.m.
• Worship
  • Youth Sunday, first Sunday in June
• Missions
  • West Virginia Mission Trip
  • Local mission activities periodically during the year
• Retreats
  • Winter Ski Retreat
  • Summer Camp Retreat
• Fundraising for Missions & Youth Group
